New Beginnings

Hi we are still moving forward with our construction even with the cold temps and ice. The few warm days are a blessing. Fences & Shelter must continue to be built. Chicken coop now has nice new floor & large paddock for chickies to browse under the trees.
This is very exciting!

  1. We are about to receive our first baby chickens: Cornish crosses for cornish hens in a few weeks; adult cornish hens; Delawares, Road Island Res, & black sex links. We will be posting some pictures soon. We have planted broccoli, beets, lettuce, spinach, radishes, sweet peas so far. There will be more vegies planted as weather permits.
    Lambs will be arriving soon.
